This sanctuary is home to swift foxes, red wolves and the most endangered of all the wolves, the Mexican gray wolf. It offers tour- only packages year- round, except for during breeding and pup- rearing season (May). The program/tour consists of an indoor film and slide show, a lecture, followed by a one- half mile walk to view the wolves. Alternatively, you can opt just for the walk.

If you plan on coming to the St. Louis area, or you already live nearby, visit the wolf sanctuary. The focus is on breeding of rare and endangered wolves, tour dates must be scheduled around breeding, whelping, and pup- rearing seasons.

The Program/Tour combination gives schools, scouts, other private groups, families and individuals the opportunity to learn about wolves and to observe them in a natural setting. It begins with an indoor Program presented by a trained Docent. The Program lasts approximately one hour and consists of a film and/or slide show, a short lecture, and a question- and- answer period.

Hours : 9a- 5p daily; by appointment only

Payment Method : Visa, Master Card.
