Muny Theater

Since its opening in 1918, hundreds of big- name stars have graced their stage, adding to the Muny's rich and prestigious history. Of the 9,000 seats, more than 1,600 are free for every performance.

The theater offers signed performances for the hearing impaired on Monday evenings and provides listening devices for every show.
Pre- show backstage tours are available on performance nights to groups that purchase tickets through The Muny's Groups Sales Office.
You'll see where and how those sets are designed and built, and learn the rich history of The Muny.

A small permanent staff manages year- round activities, but the summer season requires a team of more than 600 people each week to bring you musical theatre under the stars in Forest Park!. The Muny Gift Store features unique items that are only available through the website. Please refer to it.
