Since 1906, the St. Ambrose School, with its rich Italian tradition, has served families through a variety of programs for the area's children as well as its adults.
The school is staffed by the Apostles of the Scared Heart of Jesus religious congregation.
This is a Catholic elementary school located in the city of St. Louis, Missouri. It is totally committed not only to the formal classroom education of its children, but to their emotional, spiritual and social education as well.
Teachers meet regularly to evaluate student progress and to plan for future activities. One specific goal this year is to introduce interdisciplinary units for both seventh and eighth grades.
Projects centered on particular topics and that can integrate as many subject areas as possible are chosen.
