Lindenwood Park was christened in 1947 on a small tract that originated from a Spanish land grant by Charles Gratiot in 1798. In 1963, the Lindenwood subdivision was added.

The park serves as a neighborhood retreat, but is also used for community and business events with a permit from the Parks Department.

Lindenwood Park is well- maintained, composed of well constructed brick housing stock that exemplifies the quality craftsmanship for which St. Louis is renowned.

Some new construction is evident but is limited because there is a paucity of open, undeveloped land suitable for new housing construction.

Hours : 9a- 4p Mon- Fri, Parks Department, Reservations and Permits
