Rothschild's Antiques was opened by Pete Rothschild in 1969. The store originally sold mostly vintage clothes, but branched out gradually over the years into high- end antiques. By 1972, it was voted the Best Antique Store in America by Esquire Magazine.

This decades- old shop carries a versatile inventory which includes rustic Asian, and contemporary pieces. It also features silk pillows, statuary, candles, china vases, chairs, upholstery, stained glass, chandeliers and rough- hewn tables, chests, boxes, wrought iron and greenery.

It also offers quality services in repairs and refinishing. Pete still enjoys having a strong influence in the store, while David is the store Director, doing most of the buying and display.

Most recently, it was listed in St. Louis Magazine's 2005 “A- List Shopping.”
Offering full- service interior design, Rothschild's Antiques is a must- see shopping experience.
