Truly a local landmark, the Macro Sun boasts of the wide range of unusual pieces of art as well as other items such as jewelry, books and fashions. The art displayed here is from all over the world like Pakistan, Vietnam, Thailand and India. This cultural center carries Prices range from less than 50 dollars to more than 1, 000, depending on the item's historical value and cultural significance.

Macro Sun International now calls home 6000 square feet in the ground floor of the historic Knickerbocker Clothing Company building. Macro Sun's 2005 renovation of the 1889 building in partnership with the Lawrence Group Architects won a “Cityscape Award” from the Downtown St. Louis Partnership. The interiors of the showroom are worth mentioning. It is endowed with 18 foot wood beam ceilings, exposed brick, columns, warm organic colors, extensive use of mahogany, walnut and granite, unique hand- blown glass lighting, simple elegant signage, and intricate staining of concrete floors.

Macro Sun President Gil Williams explains, "in creating the new home of Macro Sun International in the historic Knickerbocker Building, we were determined to preserve and highlight the character and the integrity of the beautiful 19th century structure."
