Broadway Oyster Bar is an award winning bar. It is listed among the "Top 10 Blues Bars in America." Live local and national blues bands are featured on the patio seven nights a week.

Above old picnic- type tables, fish with beer bottles in their mouths and garlands around their necks keep an eye on diners in the darkened room. Notes and drawings scribbled on napkins hang on the walls next to old band flyers. The venue also hosts many blues, funk, jazz and Zydeco bands.

People of all ages go there for jambalaya, red beans and rice, Cajun pasta and oysters. The choices are actually mind- boggling. Appetizers include potato and yam chips as well as fried alligator. There's also a hefty selection of shrimp dishes, fresh market choices and crawfish creations. The bottled beer is plentiful and a few are on tap. Enthusiastic Cardinals fans drop by this funky, character- filled hangout just south of Busch Stadium for Cajun cooking before or after Cards games.
