I Guess Offense Counts to the Gold Gloves?

Yadier Molina finally won a Gold Glove.  He’s been one of the best defensive catchers since he broke into the majors 4 years ago, but for some reason he won the year his average was over .300, despite the fact that he commited a career-high 10 errors.  Weird.  He did have only 5 passed balls, which is a career-best, and he threw out 35% of basestealers.  Congratulations to Yadier Molina on his first gold glove!
